Our mission is to create and produce the most dynamic, unique, and memorable special events that are consistent with the strategies, objectives, and mission of your organization or company.

Principal's Qualifications - Debbi Benedict has been creating memorable special events in the Sarasota area for over 15 years.  Assisting corporations and non-profit organizations to reach new levels of excellence with the visionary scope of her planning and execution, she strives to achieve a best practices level of craftsmanship in her extensively researched and exquisitely detailed blueprints for success.  Her contributions to area organizations are noteworthy.


During 2004-05, she coordinated over 40 events for the William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation’s 50th anniversary – “Celebrating a Tapestry of Giving”, including a commemorative publication, a documentary, a kick-off breakfast for 600, a Pulitzer Prize winning author’s multiple appearances, four Selby Saturdays at seven local institutions, a community essay contest, five events in a 24 hour period for a noted philanthropy author, a tree trail and dedication ceremony at a county park, two arts events at the Van Wezel, and extensive media coverage.


Currently, a major project she is coordinating is TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care’s Clowning Around Town outdoor art event.  Two years in the planning and execution, the project is anticipated to earn $1 million profit, with the auction of over 50 artist-embellished fiberglass clowns and additional merchandising items, along with garnering nation-wide publicity and acclaim.


Over the past fifteen years, she has developed excellent working relationships with the major vendors/players necessary to mount a successful event in the Sarasota area.  Her substantial experience assures that even when major challenges present themselves, she will rise to the occasion with her trademark grace, integrity, and excellence.


Community leadership has played a crucial role in her professional development. Serving on numerous community boards, she always rises to the executive committee level.  Among the boards she has served on are:  Junior League of Sarasota (President), Ringling School Library Association (President), New College Library Association, Gulf Coast Heritage Association (Historic Spanish Point), Friends of Venice Public Library (President), Sarasota County Arts Council, and Venice Historical Society.


In addition to serving on their boards, she served on fundraising committees for the above organizations, as well as the following organizations:  Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota Ballet, Children’s Guardian Fund, Child Development Center, Vision Foundation, WEDU, and the Girl Scouts of Southwest Florida, to name just a few.


She has the vision to create and see through major projects from start to finish, such as the two-week-long Scarecrow Festival for Historic Spanish Point, the month-long Experience Ellington collaboration between Sarasota County Arts Council, Venice Public Library, and various arts groups, and the inaugural Historic Tour of Homes for the Venice Historical Society.


In creating exciting new events, she specializes in coordinating events during anniversary years, such as the Junior League of Sarasota’s 40th anniversary, the 30th Mistletoe Ball and 20th Pique-nique sur la Baie – both for the New College Library Association, the 20th Ringling School Library Association Town Hall Lecture Series and the 25th Orchid Ball for Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.  She also founded, and has chaired for the past five years, the Junior League of Sarasota Sustainers’ Legacy Luncheon.


She is a graduate of Leadership Sarasota and the New Leaders Council.
